Watches NEWS
Hands-On: The Cl de Cartier Women's Collection
It is not news that Cartier released their new collection, Clé de Cartier, earlier this year. HODINKEE actually did a wonderful review on the men's collection in February – however I want to further explore the women’s pieces in the collection. 1 OF 11 You may have noticed that women’s watches are having a moment. With brands focusing the majority of their marketing towards attracting female buyers, women are wearing watches more than ever. Additionally, fashion editorials are featuring wristwatches in more advertisements and accessory spreads than in previous years, and not just women’s watches, men's watches – think pink-gold AP Royal Oaks and Panerais. 2 OF 11 Cartier is one of the most influential and recognizable brands in the industry and has a rich history of producing classic women’s watches. World Time 5130 Push Button
For those who own a 5130, when you push to change the city location, does the wheel seem to shake around a bit rather than having a solid shift feel to it?I'm trying to describe it as best as I can, but after each shift in city, the dial does align perfectly and all, but the dial/hands does tend to shift back and forth (shake around a bit)a bit during the shift. Recent discontinued models (help)
Hi guys,I have recently fallen in love with Panerai but am yet to own one.I am looking at purchasing either a 000, 112 or 111. It seems that as these models are discontinued and that they are going for quite a bit used.An example of this is a 2010 000 on watchfinder for ?3150 or a 2006 111 for ?4000.Am I right in saying these are expensive? If so what would you advise in terms of obtaining one of these models? Thanks
How about that DJ 41TT
Well im a big fan, got the sub c date, got the Batman,,The DJ41TT, is a work of art, also, due to thinness of the case , you can hear some rotor, not Omega loud but there,,,What's my point: Datejust two tone, always, preferably with jub bracelet, if you want SS stick with the classics, mentioned at start of post....
