Sinn 857 Watch
I just got finished using a German proxy server to trick Sinn's website into thinking I was viewing it from their homeland. Why did I do this? To get the price of this new 857 collection watch for you. Sinn apparently uses geo-locating to protect their prices from being viewed by potential buyers outside of Germany. Probably because those prices vary from country to country. Nevertheless, I am still going to tell you the prices as that is only fair.To my knowledge Sinn hasn't hard-launched the new 857 and 857 S watch collection yet. Though, the pieces are right up there on their website. These are a more simple version of the existing 857 UTC models which contained a small central GMT hand. What the 857 really is however is an upgraded and larger version of the 657 and 657 S - a watch I proudly own but simply do not wear any longer as it is too small. I'm over to London for a trip soon and was wondering if these are available to try on in many places (particularly the 5712)Believe the 5711 is unlikely to be found anywhere, same situation with 5712?Anyhow anybody seen any about in London recently. 5980/1A on band?
Love the 5980R, however I am afraid the RG isn't suitable to wear daily for work. Thus the alternative leaves me with the SS 5980 however that is only available on bracelet and I much prefer the leather band. I presume that I can swap a leather band for the bracelet (like on the 5726). Does anyone have pictures of the 5980/1A on band?If possible, would I then just order the new band and deployment from an AD or is there a better route to go? Have to imagine the band and deployment won't be cheap. Thanks in advance!

2018 and the SOTC
