Bathys Cesium 133 Atomic Clock Watch Now On Kickstarter
Bathys is, without a doubt, one of the more unique American watch brands currently in operation. We know this because out of nowhere they developed the world's first atomic clock wrist watch. Prior to last year, it was sort of an idiosyncratic?brand, with those who knew of the brand singing it's high praises (but more weren't even aware of their watches). That all changed in late 2013, when news of them creating a watch accurate to 1 second in 1000 years began to come out.How this is done is more a feat of technical wizardry than anything, and not something you'd expect to see in a watch. Ariel's preview and hands-on time with the prototype ?cover a lot of the technical details, but suffice it to sayCthis watch houses it's own atomic clock, and generates (on-board) the signal that keeps the formerly-quartz movement on track. As our articles progressed, pricing has come down. Initially projected to be well over $12,000, it was estimated to be a more reasonable $8,000 or so. Well, now tha
A good daily AP.
Looking to dip my foot in these waters again. I'm going to be honest, it's a problem (being honest) of mine, I just don't want to wear a Rolex. I'm really enjoying my Omega watches, but I do want something a little bolder. My Yaeger is a keeper, but with no date, it's got something missing. I don't need a date, but I do want one. My concern is the size. I typically stay at 42 or under. Balance is an issue too. I'm thinking standard diver or ceramic with orange. Any guidance or thoughts/ideas would he appreciated.
Omega SMP Electric Blue experience
I have a full size elec blue SMP with the Speedmaster style bracelet that I was thinkng about trading in for a Rolex Exp 1 the no date 36 mm.I had sent the SMP in for service about 7 months ago and it looks about 97%and they told me nobody likes the elec blue model and they would give me 400 bucks for it in trade.......I walked out without saying a word.I will keep the elec blue till i die now.

First Rolex Incoming
Hey Guys,You may have read my new member thread and my AD ended up calling me today! I had plans to leave town yesterday, but I'm glad I didn't. My rep called and said a sub no date had just come in this morning and he had set it aside. I came in a few hours later and walked out with it. My AD experience was really great, and I'd recommend anyone looking to buy their first Rolex to go that route. I'm really happy with it and I'm glad I'm finally a Rolex owner. They also had quite a few Daytonas come in as well as 2 Milgauss's. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
