Hublot King Power Miami Heat Chronograph Watch
OK come on, this watch is cool. I am not even a basketball or Miami Heat fan, but this watch is really cool. It doesn't take a lot of thought to understand why Hublot is doing well with the aspirational youth audience or wealthy individuals who wouldn't take a Patek out for a night on the town in fear that they might fall asleep at 9:30pm from a lack of visual excitement. This watch is really what Hublot is doing best. The designs we see might sometimes be redundant or predictable, but they are still cool.I talked about Hublot and the Miami Heat a while go here in an enjoyable article. Either way the watch is spectacular.Beforephoto (7).jpgAnd afterphoto (6).jpg

Meaning crisis? Investment crisis? Values crisis? Yet, it is on the contrary a tribute paid to the classic horologic culture: it is either an outright tribute, by buying rarities such as the Rochat brother's pistols; for example, the pair of pistols was auctioned for 5 million Dollars recently, in Asia.Alternatively, it is a bet on the future, when collectors put crazy amounts of money on a new Great complication; one could remember the Patek 3939, which was auctioned for 1.4 million Euros. The very high-end watchmaking purchases are those of technical concepts, the oldest being unique pieces for which fabrication secrets have been lost; we get close to the Art auctions, where the principle is to pu
