The 42mm PVD-coated titanium case houses an automatic ETA 2836-2 movement. The bezel is unidirectional with a 60-minute scale (120 notches) and a Superluminova capsule at 12. Last Tuesday, HODINKEE and Tiffany & Co. hosted a get-together at Tiffany's boutique in Chicago's Magnificent Mile district, to inaugurate a new feature at the company's Michigan Avenue location – and a new feature for Tiffany boutiques as well. How water resistant is a Speedmaster?
I know my SEAmasters are dive watches and should be waterproof and has the screw down crown.However, I took my new Speedy to the Caribbean and it got rained on and splashed and a bunch of other stuff. Just made we wonder - how water resident is it? Have you swam with one? Or just washed your hands with it?SuzySent from my iPad using Tapatalk where I can't do quotes, do smileys very well, or attach pictures easily. :( Wish they'd fix the iPad software so it doesn't crash.

Cheap Thrill...(a mini-reveal!)
OK- so I've been on the hunt for a daily beater/wearer and this one seems to do nicely...I think it's a great workhorse of a watch. The fact that it's automatic makes me like it even more!
