Who has an older AP?
Most of the AP's we see on here are from the last 5 years or so......so where are all the older models hiding?!Show us some pics!
FRI@GMT WRUW? ---Remembering "Magnificent desolation."
Apollo 11 launched from Cape Kennedy on July 16, 1969, 09:32 am EDT; Nearing the Moon, the descent engine continued to provide braking thrust until about 102 hours, 45 minutes into the mission. Partially piloted manually by Armstrong, the Eagle landed in the Sea of Tranquility in Site 2 at 0 degrees, 41 minutes, 15 seconds north latitude and 23 degrees, 26 minutes east longitude. At about 109 hours, 42 minutes after launch, Armstrong stepped onto the moon, with one small step for man About 20 minutes later, Aldrin followed him. [wearing his Omega Speedmaster! --Neil's remained on-duty in the LEM]. I am fortunate with this 'older cousin,' 1058 movements earlier than Neil's 105.012-65 with JB Champion Mesh Bracelet. I honor the Apollo 11 Crew's anniversary with a glorious Romeo Y Julieta, Habano. Colonel 58
Patek 5711 dial change
As the title states, is it possible to change dials on the 5711? And if so does anyone know the cost of buying and replacing the dial?
5205 R Black or White dial
Just picked up a 5205 R Black. Still in the box unopened. Love the model, found a great deal, just not sure the black dial is the way to go. I think the black face is more formal. I am thinking about the desirability going forward. Is the black just a trend and is the white the way to go for desirability and potential having the right pieceThoughts?
I rarely get this excited about getting something in the mail...
