Arnold & Son’s HMS1 Collection Strives for Classical Elegance
Arnold & Son, the Swiss watch brand based in La Chaux-de-Fonds and named for 18th-century London watchmaker John Arnold, has released a new collection of elegantly simple watches called HMS1. The name harks back to John Arnold’s history as a supplier of marine chronometers to the British Royal Navy. The quartet of new watches includes two in stainless steel cases, with a white or anthracite dial ($9,885 and $10,095, respectively); one in an 18k rose gold case with an anthracite dial ($15,165); and one in an 18k white gold case with a silver-colored dial ($16,640). All the cases are 40 mm in diameter, water-resistant to 30 meters, and feature curved sapphire crystals with nonreflective coating on both sides as well as sapphire exhibition casebacks. The watches contain Arnold & Son’s in-house, hand-wound movement, Caliber A&S1001, which powers the hours, minutes and small seconds display at 6 ‘clock on the dial. Original Railmaster Find...
My friend showed me a recent find. It's been in a bank vault for approx. 20 years. Omega Railmaster. Never serviced, all original dial. Does anyone know about these watches. I like the look of the oscillating rotor, it's definitely vintage= note the original caseback gasket....
Bond inspired Omega
Let's see some pics with Bond themed Omegas...here's mine
A few pics of the 5960p
I've been absolutely loving the 5960p since picking it up, and even though it may not be the most collectable Patek, it's definitely the right watch for me and that's what it's all about, as sometimes you just have to go with your heart The 5070 will just have to wait a bit longer Been snapping a few pics of the 5960 over the holidays, and thought I'd share them. Hope you enjoy!
Close up on 114060 w/ Rubber B strap
So just switched my oyster bracelet to a rubber b all black for my 114060. Wasn't sure at the beginning, but can't stop thinking about the OF on Daytona WG. So went to my local rubber b dealer and got them switched. Couldn't be happier! The sub looks like another new watch, been wearing them these couple of days ..
