Squale 50 Atmos ref 1521 Review
Though most probably know Squale from their affordable Submariner homages, we at worn&wound are fans of the brand for an entirely different reason. There's no denying that the watch world today is obsessed with everything "heritage." Prices for vintage pieces have gone up, long-gone companies are being brought back from the dead (with little to no connection to the past), and countless established brands are digging into their archives to revive discontinued models and designs. Despite the effort, it all feels a bit disingenuous, with marketing departments clearly playing up heritage to sell consumers stories that, more often than not, aren't true. Squale is different.Squale's history stretches back to 1948, when dive enthusiast Charles Von Buren first began assembling watches in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Obris Morgan Branco PVD Review
Nothing makes us happier at worn&wound than to find a watch that is both great looking and a great deal. After all, we are a site about affordable and well-designed wristwatches. So, when we happened upon the Obris Morgan Branco, we knew immediately that we had to get the watch on the site. ?On paper, it's just about the best deal we've ever seen: outstanding features, a handful of extras, and killer looks what's not to like? Wellthere is always the possibility that a cheap watch is cheap, because it is poorly made. As I pointed out in my initial impressions, the packaging alone exceeds expectations. Now, let's dig into the details of the watch itself and see if it truly is a remarkable deal for a great watch.Obris Morgan Branco ReviewCase: Matte PVD TitaniumMovement: Miyota 8215 AutoDial: Black Sandwich with lume layerLume: C3Lens: Sapphire with AR coating, single sideStrap: 2x Black Leather, RubberWater Res.: 200mDimensions: 43mm x 51mmThickness: 12mmLug Width: 22mmCrown: 4 x 8
AP info
Hello everyone got a few questions, if use would be so kind to answer Think I'm getting a 15710 diver soon and wanted to know where it ranks in the AP line up ? I don't know much about APs if it was Rolex I would know right away the sub is iconic and will always hold its value etc etc. So wanting some more info from use AP guys.Is the 42 diver not as sought after as the 44s ?What is re sale value like are they soft ? Been recommended to look at the 44 ROO but I think 42 is big enough for me and if I'm honest I've just never been a fan of chronograph watches in general.
