Introducing The Piaget Altiplano Chronograph, Now The Thinnest Hand-Wound Flyback Chronograph (And It's A Dual-Time, Too)
Here it is people. This is a major new introduction from Piaget, and it is really impressive stuff. Piaget is known for making the thinnest complicated watches in the world. Actually, they also happen to make the thinnest mechanical watch in the world, period. Today, they add a major introduction to their revered Altiplano line with a new in-house, ultra-thin flyback chronograph. This is the real deal. 2 OF 9 This 41 mm chronograph features the new Piaget caliber 883P, the thinnest hand-wound flyback chronograph ever made. The depth of the whole movement is just 4.65 mm thick, with a power reserve of 50 hours and 3Hz beat rate. But just because it's thin doesn't mean Piaget skimped out on anything – as I mentioned it's a flyback, with vertical clutch and column-wheel. 3 OF 9 This impressive new caliber is finished with circular Co?tes de Gene?ve, a circular-grained mainplate, lovely bevelled bridges, and engraved mainplate with the Piaget

Incredibly happy and excited to be wearing this rose gold piece.
Are we in a 5711 "bubble"?
So, we all know that that 5711 is absurdly, hilariously difficult to get these days. And gray market is even worse. I even found myself considering a 5711R before slapping some sense into myself today. So, curious everyone - do you think we're in the middle of a bubble on this piece? Or is this the new reality on steel Patek sports watches?
First PP watch - Advice?
I am relatively new to the watch collecting, but like most forum members have referenced the bug catches quickly! I have acquired a number of Rolex, JLC, Panerai, Breitling and Tudor watches, but want to add my first Patek Phillipe to the collection.I am interested in purchasing my first Patek Philippe watch, but want to keep under a $30k budget. I really like the Aquanaut (5164 & 5167) and am beginning to lean in that direction.Any other models I should consider? Any advice/guidance on discounts from an AD?Thanks!
