Thursday evening, F.P. Journe and WatchTime magazine joined forces to host an intimate evening of cocktails, dinner and timepieces at the stunning West Hollywood F.P. Journe Boutique. About 20 collectors and the WatchTime crew, including editor in chief Joe Thompson, sipped Dalmore Scotch whisky and Champagne as Pierre Halimi, F.P Journe General Manager Americas, welcomed guests and shared industry stories?and insights. Serena Williams And Audemars Piguet Watches
Last December during Art Basel 2014, I had a chance to meet and take some photographs of Serena Williams. She was visiting the Audemars Piguet VIP booth at the show, and is a newer ambassador of the brand. What struck me then was how passionate and into watches she seemed. With her recent win at the Australian Open, her 19th grand slam single title, Serena Williams continues her assaults at the record books and further cementing her place as the most dominant player in the past two decades and making a case, arguably, to be considered the best who has ever lived (men or women).What was apparent to any watch lover during Serena Williams' visit to the Audemars Piguet booth, was how much she already knew and yet still wanted to know more about watches. She spent what was easily 30 to 45 minutes chatting intensely with the staff, and in particular the watchmaker that Audemars Piguet had on staff with them, discussing the Royal Oak that he was servicing. Trying something different this morning...
Da wife never warmed up to the white rubber on my Trulli. This morning she suggested putting it on the newly acquired Rubberclad. Here is the result - she maybe on to something here.

ROC - 41mm black dial or 39mm Panda?
Going to pick up my very first AP and narrowed it down to the ROC 39mm Panda or 41mm black dial. The panda dial certainly jumps out but I tried a 39mm and it feels a little small. The 41mm feels just right but the dial color is just that little bit staid. What do you guys think?

Exit watch (Panerai)
372 for me and that's all I need. yes 372 is that good of a Panerai. I literally stop buying Panerai since I got my 372. I sold off my 000, 312, 328, 305, 88 and 561.Best regards, James
