Selling Watches The "Wired" Way
Wired magazine isn't the only good place for watch brands to advertise, but it definitely is a good placements - an no, they aren't paying me to say that. Filling up with more and more watch advertisements, the approach many brands have taken with their pages in this magazine for the socialized nerd, can provide important lessons on how to promote watches in this day and age.I've been reading Wired magazine for about a decade now. Not everything single issue, but it is one of the few magazine subscriptions that I have kept. To those not familiar with the magazine, it is an interesting publication. In a pre-Internet world it was a news and trend guide for the tech culture. After the Internet itself became the spot for breaking news, gossip, and breakthroughs, Wired turned into a something more literate. Like a non-fiction New Yorker for computer programmers. Today the quality magazine covers culture, gadgets, entertainment, technology, and science with a lighthearted - often cynically h
The Return of the Turtle: Seiko Brings Back a Classic
When it comes to the world of vintage divers, Seiko sits at the top with some of the very best. That's no exaggeration. Few brands can boast a history as storied as Seiko's when it comes to divers, a history that began in earnest in 1965 when the brand released their first dive watch, the 6127 (62MAS). And the above list simply scratches at the surface; Seiko's historical catalogue of divers goes deep.source: WUS In recent years, Seiko's vintage divers have gained a relatively robust following. Or rather, that following has become more mainstream, since it would be unfair to discount all the Seiko diehards who have loved the brand and its watches long before today's vi

Question re the 2403 movement (Railmaster)
I just purchased a 6 month old 36mm Railmaster from a TRF member. It has the 2403B movement. I've read about the 2500A, B and C movements, but what about the 2403A and B movements. Does the 2403B run at 28,800 or the 25,200 BPH? Thanks.
GMT +15 seconds
My 2 year old 116710ln is running about +15seconds per day, and I am planning to take it down the the Rolex Service Centre on St James Sq, London.Would this be a quick fix or would I need to have it serviced? Also would I have any issues bringing it in on the isofrane which I wear it on ?
