Bell & Ross BR03-92 Military Ceramic “Phantom”
Designed to maintain a low profile, the Bell & Ross BR03-92 case is fashioned entirely from a monochromatic khaki-camouflage ceramic with a matte finish. The ceramic will absolutely retain its color, and you won’t be able to scratch it unless you go after it with a diamond. It’s also lighter than steel and hypoallergenic. The 42mm diameter and 100 meter water resistance make the watch suitable for a wide variety of applications. The dial and hands are highly legible in all lighting conditions. The movement is ETA’s 2892. Look for the Phantom in stores this spring on either a rubber or synthetic strap.
Introducing The Nomos True Blue Zurich Weltzeit, A Favorite Receives A New Dial, And In-House Escape
You would be hard-pressed to find a more somber blue on the color palette, but that’s just how we like our Bauhaus – subdued and straightforward. The new True Blue Zurich Weltzeit is NOMOS’ chic take on its exquisite GMT that made headlines a few years back (check out this old-skool Week on the Wrist) and a recent appearance at HODINKEE’S event to welcome NOMOS to the States earlier this summer. Let’s dive right in.It’s unlikely for a HODINKEE reader to be unfamiliar with NOMOS, but just in case you haven’t had the privilege of being introduced to the younger German – here’s a quick preface. NOMOS Glashütte was born in '91 in the little town of Glashütte, Germany. If that name sounds familiar, that's because it’s also the birthplace of A. Lange & Söhne, the house that pioneered the three-quarter plate. Nivarox was patented here, and clearly, pedigree is contagious in this environment. 2 OF 3
Tell me that I'm sane! (15300 contrasting date ring?)
I really want an originally sized Royal Oak (read not 41mm), but the 15202 is out of the question due to price. Therefore my next step, is naturally to look to a 15300. Now I was initially leaning to either a blue or black dial in any Royal Oak model, but that DAMN contrasting date ring on the 15300 just makes me want to pop a vein and start murdering people! Please tell me I'm not the only one!?P.S. I have come to a realisation that I do actually like the white dial a whole lot more than I initially thought
Any Volcano owners out there?
Looking for overall impressions of the Volcano. From what I have read pictures just don't do it justice
Article on Patek's Next Generation Ad
Found this on the net. Yes it is rather old from from 2013. A sometimes hilarious take on Patek's: You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.the-toast.net/2013/12/09/you-...ything-really/Hopefully someone get a chuckle or two.
