Burberry Aviator Watch
I see one advantage to this watch really. You get that look of a classic aviator with the Burberry name - if that tickles you the right way. Burberry is a pretty good brand that sorta went over-the-top like Louis Vuitton. Not sure when it was, but at some point Louis Vuitton just went nuts with the "monogram" showing up on everything from change purses and shoes, to probably shower caps. Burberry is on their way there, but with plaid - so much plaid. But as far as hideous plaid goes, at least the Burberry stuff looks good. I'd settle for a nice Burberry overcoat with all the plaid on the inside.Look closely and you'll see lots of little things that take this aviator style watch into a new direction. It looks different on many angles. This includes the curved lugs, different font used for the hour indicators, and the crown that is actually decently rendered. Sausage/Painted Dial Durability?
Used to be a sandwich guy, but now the sausage/painted dials are growing on me. Other than aesthetics, are there any cons for sausage/painted dials? For example, durability of the painted (vs. sandwich), lume, etc.Also, are sausage/painted dials only on the base/lower models?

The strap game has begun....
when i came to the dark side, i was aware that buying straps maybe a bad habit. i told myself i should not buy extra strap at one point. but on the same day i made the purchase of my first pam, i've already ordered the rubber strap and deploy buckle. and then after 2 weeks, my itch made me uncontrollably browsing through all strap vendors for a few days straight. ended up i made the first handmade strap order from Drew, Europelli. after a month of waiting, my strap finally delivered yesterday. Amazing is all i can say.it is the Antique Maduro Calfskin from 1966. compare to the oem rubber and the stainless band came with the watch, this vintage strap really brings out a whole new character of the watch. love it! i guess this is going to be my new hobby now.sorry about the big size picture, too lazy to resize them :p
