Testing!
While waiting for my Explorer II which should be here in a week figured might as well learn how to post a pic!
Another vote for the 5712
Hi TRF,I'm going to add first PP to my collection.I'm on the fence between these two model 5712G or 5726A.I like the dial balance of 5726 but 5712 has great feeling with WG.The prices are not much different between these two. Please advice me which one and why would be the best choice for me.
good decision
Hi guys,Not long ago I flipped my 5712 that I dearly loved, to finance part of a very good investment, I had hesitated to sell the AP but decided to sell the PP as the AP had a very special number for me.So happy I did, it's been discontinued and seems they made less than 600, so it's quite limited and exclusive IMO, how many 5712 do you think have been made throughout the years? Probably much more but how many? around 5-6000? Anyone know how many were made each year? In any case as much as I loved my Patek getting it back will be way easier than a CE diver, plus the prices might soar due to unavailability.
116300 blue Roman dial
When I first started looking at Rolex , this is the DJ II that first caught my eye , as I reached the amount needed to buy it , I lost focus and started drooling over higher end pieces.I came across another one the other day and reminded me how nice that azzuro dial is, so I'm on the hunt again for one ! At a bargain of course ;)Can some of you owners of this beauty post a pic or two , fluted or smooth
Best Rolex Encyclopedia Books
I keep looking at the advert from Mondani books, and on Amazon but the prices seem a little high. I even tried to get a copy of one of the books from the library, but there was only one copy in the Library of Congress. Any decently priced Rolex books available on Amazon?
