Habring2 Doppel 2.0 Watch
I don't know why it took me until now to cover Habring2 here on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer. You've heard about German watch makers, but what about Austrian ones? Well now you have. These guys are pretty cool - and certainly unique. Imagine if Sinn and Tutima had a cousin across the border. Similar but different, that German speaking cousin regularly wore bowties. That would be?Habring2. I mean all is good except for the little mathematical "squared number 2" numeral next to the name. I get that it is a team of Maria Kristina Habring and Richard Habring - but did they need to choose a character that requires like 10 minutes to figure out how to enter into a text document?If Habring2 was a mathematical equation I think the result would be Germanic mechanical sentiments times nouveau design classicism equals whatever you see here. Yachtmaster Bezel Tarnish?
I am very interested in buying a TT Yachtmaster. However, I would like to know other's opinion and/or clarification/experience with what appears to be a common tarnish/grime buildup on the unpolished portion of the bezel (within the nooks and crannies). Nearly every image of the watch that I see in new or factory/unworn condition spotlights this issue. It is basically a deal-breaker for me if this is the norm for this model, Thanks.

With the ingenious ring command bezel developed by rolex with the ym 2 and skydweller...from an engineering and production stand point how hard would it be to alter the movement to go from 28 to 1 when transferring from feb to March... instead of just recognizing months that change from 30 or 31 days?

Well, the second best thing at an AD. I went into an AD in Westchester County, NY (not the big T), no SS sport models except 1 Explorer, polar dial, thats it. In regards to sports models the only PM model they had was a WG ceramic bezel Daytona with the rubber strap, thats it. No other SS models, no PM, except what I mentioned above. Their Rolex display was 50% empty, only had lots of DJ's, like other AD's. Saleswoman told me they received no shipments since mid November and don't expect any shipments until February. The wall display was empty and this AD has an entire room dedicated to Rolex, no other watches in this room. The woman told me that they have received hundreds of calls asking for any SS sport models. She told me that people preferred the SS models, but when they could not get SS, they bought TT and all PM models.
