Any RSC Recommendations in Canada?
Hi everyone,Just recently picked up my GMT Master 2 and i'm enjoying it so far. There are a couple of things that concern me and would like to hear your opinions/input (mostly from fellow Canucks) with regards to RSC Procedures. Here's a picture of the watch:One thing about this watch is the quality of Oystersteel in comparison to 316L Stainless Steel. It will trick you to thinking on whether or not the watch is still on your wrist.Anyways, I ended up picking up my own screwdriver for resizing my bracelet as I have heard that some people who resize bracelets (even RSC) can damage screws/links with incorrect care.Does anyone know any recommended RSC here in Toronto/Canada?Thanks!
Watches spotted in the wild
Since I became clued up on watches I tend to try and see what others may be wearing when out and about. My last contract had me passing through Central London and the most common Rolex watch I saw was a Daytona.Never saw a Hulk or an precious metal watches. And i've seen a single BLNR and a Sub.Most common watch in general tends to be an Apple WatchSo the question is, where are they all? Locked away as investments or never worn? I've only ever seen one other Hulk and that was in a AD.
What gives ???
I'm fairly new here to these parts of the Interwebs, more of a long time lurker, recent posting convert and I know the SS Sport shortage situation has been beat to death here recently, but this is making my face hurt. I have convinced myself that what I really need in life right now is a Datejust 41 or two. I prefer to at least start with the ADs and see what they have and what they can are willing to do. I have 3 that I have dealt with for a few years. I buy a watch or two every now and then and stay in reasonable contact with each. For that matter I have a HUGE deposit with one of them for a paid in full white Daytona C and a partial on a watch to be named later (think, no dream, Coke C GMT). All three ADs quoted me full price on a DJ41. Today one of them sited the current sport model shortage as justification. Generally, I consider myself an easy to get along with sort, fairly amusing from time to time, I'm pretty serious about my watch collection (all three ADs know this), a
