Zenith Pilot Montre dAronef Type 20 Annual Calendar Watch
2013 will see a number of additions to the Zenith Pilot Montre d'Aronef Type 20 watch collection that started last year with mega 57.5mm wide Pilot Montre d'Aronef Type 20 that included a rather amazing recreation of a competition movement. Never intended as a serious collection, the popularity of the Montre d'Aronef Type 20 likely spurred enough noise that Zenith CEO Jean-Frederic Dufour decided to expand on the range. This new Zenith Pilot model is the most appreciated Pilot Montre d'Aronef Type 20 Annual Calendar, and includes the name Zenith El Primero caliber 4054 automatic movement produced in conjunction with maker designer Ludwig Oeschlin. This movement originally debuted in the Zenith Captain Winsor watch. From classy now to sporty, the chronograph with annual calendar in the El Primero 4054 finds itself a good home in the Pilot Montre d'Aronef Type 20 Annual Calendar. The timepieces will sport 48mm wide cases in that beautiful old pilot watch style based on an original vi

Found: The Patek Philippe Owned By The Founder Of Coca-Cola, And Other Ultra Cool Pateks Now On Exhibit At Tiffany New York
There is, as we've mentioned elsewhere, and as many collectors know, a very long and rich common history between Patek Philippe and Tiffany, which goes all the way back to 1851, as we've explored elsewhere. It's a remarkable history with a remarkable legacy, with Tiffany-signed Patek Philippes forming a significant group of watches and often commanding a premium at auction over non-Tiffany signed models, thanks to their relative rarity. Patek Philippe and Tiffany have just opened a remarkable exhibit: a selection of unusual and in some cases unique Patek Philippe watches and pocket watches, from the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva. They will be on show at the Tiffany flagship in New York for the next six months or so, and are a must-see for pretty much anyone interested in horology – it's exceedingly unusual for Patek museum collection timepieces to be seen anywhere outside the Patek Philippe Museum. The Golden Incoming... Volume 2
Well here it is... Volume 2.First and foremost, a BIG BIG thank you to my good friend Paul (texex91) for helping me with so many facets of getting this watch to me. I purchased this from the AP NY boutique on 57th and I was intro'd to the management by Paul. These I serial 44mm Rosies are in short supply and through his connections I was able to have management allocate one for me for a July delivery for me by ordering in June. I'm a customer of the Ginza boutique through my travels to Japan but Paul convinced the NY management that I should be a customers of theirs so either way, I'm happy to have a new home for my AP purchases. Without further blah blah blah here it is!Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
682 Incoming!
Visited the Panerai store while on vacation in Florence. Tried the 682 on and fell in love. Didn't buy there because of no discount and vat was equal to buying at retail in the states plus dollar was at 1.24.. So my good buddy Thanh (Takuya) coincidentally got a 3 month old one in a few days upon my return to the states! It was meant for me! The way it feels on is amazing! 42mm is perfect for my 6.5 wrist!
