IWC Announces Ingenieur Double Chronograph Titanium
IWC’s Ingenieur family gains a rattrapante or split-seconds function with the launch of the new Double Chronograph (or Doppelchronograph in German) Titanium. The Double Chronograph case measures a substantial 45mm x 16mm and offers a satin finish. The caliber 79230 movement allows the “Doppel” to time multiple events. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. Outside, five screw heads on the bezel are DLC-coated to match the black rubber-coated push-buttons and crown protection. To keep weight and thickness in check, the soft-iron inner case has been omitted. The strap is rubber and the crystals are anti-reflective sapphire, coated on both sides. The back and crown screw in, and water-resistance is 12 bar or 120 meters.The subdials for hours, minutes and the small (hacking) seconds are recessed into the dial. X-33: help with setting time, cleaning needed?
I have an X-33 that was part of a military group buy with special engraving that has sentimental meaning.I believe the proper way of setting time was to set the digital time, then the analog hands would sync. While setting the digital time is easy, the analog hands aren't syncing properly.Any hints or suggestions?Has anyone here used LAWW for quartz watches? I live in Pasadena area and am less than 10 miles away, but wanted to troubleshoot for easy things myself.Thanks!

CK-2998 or wait for the speedmaster 60th anniversary
Hello TRF,I am being offered a CK-2998 but also have the opportunity to buy one the speedmaster 60th anniversary limited edition. Both are limited editions.Should I wait? Should I go for the CK-2998.Not really a fan of manual movements, I like them but prefer the convenience of automatic movements.Please let me know your opinions since I have to make a decision soon.
