The new Audemars Piguet Hera Tourbillon watch
The new Audemars Piguet Hera Tourbillon watch is powered by an automatic mechanical Girard-Perregaux GP 9700.0A movement. Linked to it is a tourbillon with three gold bridges. The caliber incorporates a plate, paved with 160 Paraibas tourmalines and 18 diamonds. The movement runs at the rate of 21.600 vibrations per hour. It drives hours, minutes and seconds.
PO GMT vs. Rolex GMT
I was trolling around the Omega website today as I've been contemplating an addition and I really like to look of the new PO. I was looking at the 8900 with the black and orange bezel when I stumbled across the new GMT with the black and white bezel. I'm not sure if the size and the color scheme really agree with me - I've also been eyeing the BLNR.So, maybe someone can help me with this as I've never quite understood Rolex's reasoning here. With all these other great dive/GMT watches out there with ratings of 600m, why is the Rolex GMT line still at 100m? Granted, it really doesn't make a difference given my general daily activity, but more a curiosity.
Thinking about a Speedmaster...
Well guys this is my first post in the Omega section. As the title says I'm thinking about purchasing a Speedmaster, due to its rich history and my desire for a chrono. This likely wouldn't be for a couple years, but I like to dream. I will be going used on this one to save $$$. I would like to grab the Professional Moonwatch version. My question is what prices should I expect to find, depending how old the watch is, assuming its in average condition? That is, the expected price for a 5, 10, 15, or 20 year old piece, or older. Thanks!
Any Thoughts Will Be Appreciated...
I'm in the market for an Omega Triple Date Moonphase watch, solid gold. I found this one on ebay.cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:ITIts what I want, but the price seems a bit high. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.
My First Patek!
Picked this beauty up today. Beyond happy.Since the forum isn't letting me upload photos (apparently they're too large?), i put them into an Imgur album here ---> imgur/a/QknaR
