Hideous Melding Of Mobile Phone, Mechanical Watches, And Painful Design: The Mobiado Professional 105GMT Gold Discovery Phone
What do you get when you try too hard to make a luxury mobile phone that stands out? In fact, what do you get when you try too hard to make just a luxury mobile phone? Most of the time it is some hideous creation that excels at delivering a sub par technological device in an expensive skin. So if you want to spend big bucks on a luxury phone, you can have a device that is probably antiquated before it reaches market, and is covered in gems, gold, and other gaudy looking essentials. The message no one seems to be getting is that mobile phones are mostly a commodity because technological changes and advancements require an upgrade every 12-24 months. Stick luxury watches, those can last for generations - literally.Still, there are a slew of "successful" luxury phones out there. Vertu is one of them, as well as the Tag Heuer Meridist. There are also Nokia's line of "fashionable" phones that come with hefty style premiums. These phones do well in limited markets, especially among those are

more info on Breitling Cockpit
Hello guys. Looking for some advise from breitling experts on this forum. I am looking to venture out to breitlings but was never able to come to terms with the big cases. My friend owns a Breitling cockpit which he bought in jan 2008 from an AD. He paid about 4K new and now wants to get rid of it. I really liked the MOP dial on this particular watch and also the fact that it is only 38mm and not so thick. What i want to know is a fair market price for this watch. If ever i want to sell it will i be able to sell it in a fair amount of time without taking a hell of a beating on the price. Please note that the watch in question is not the one in picture. The only difference is that it has a full 18k Rose gold bezel and indexes are also in 18kt rose gold. If i do end up buying it i will post pictures. Thanks

I've been looking for a nice 3572.50 and received this over the weekend. The bracelet is very comfortable but I would like to add a strap for a little variety. Any strap pictures would be appreciated. I find the dial easier to read than any other Chrongraph I have owned. On a full manual wind, the watch ran 50 hours. Don't have anything to compare to but I thought that was good. Special thanks to Fr. John for his recommendations and answering my many questions. It's great to have so many resources on TRF.
A few 5167 questions
Now that I have a 5167 it got me thinking on a few things. 1. How long does it take PP to produce/make a 5167 including the movement?2. What type of steel is used in the case?3. Are PP truely made by hand?4. How many 5167's are made per year?
