SC 240 movement is robust vs. 324?
I've owned a few PPs with 324 movement and just curious if 240 movement is as robust as 324? any inputs would be great.
Strange Bump in the Road.
Traded the 5970R for a 5204p. Price included delivery to the airport. Specifically bought an unsealed watch as I have a weird phobia about unsealing a watch (I have lots of issues )Watch arrives on time: check!Complete: check!Unsealed and ready to go: not! Many thanks to Ken, nycbrose, myopicoog and el1125 for the helpful advice. I'll eventually work up the nerve to cut it.
PAM90 Power Reserve
I have a friend who just purchased a PAM90 Power Reserve (no box or papers). I opened the case back for him to find that it had the 7750-p3 OP III Movement. I am not familiar with Panerai, he said it was a pam90. I thought the PAM90 had the Caliber IX but this has the Panerai OPIII w. power reserve. It's a F series.Is this possible? I have attached the picture of the movement from the watch he purchased. Here is a picture of the dial.
