HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 121 - The Dork Knight Rises or The Bane of Watches
John and I go back and forth jesting on Memorigin's Batman tourbillon watch. We also talk about the new Maison Patek Philippe in China, as well as what real Chinese watch tastes actually are. Last, you get to hear more about the new watches-dealer website and all the blood, sweat, and tears behind it.Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 121 here. Download the MP3.
Graham Chronofighter Fortress features innovative design
I have owned a Chronofighter for some time, and I must confess that the novelty has worn a little, but I always like to wear the watch. The cases are very well designed and the day before in General is made of quality. Prices are a little high but now they have what appears to be an internal caliber G1742 movement, prices are more justified.
Help with future purchase
Hi guys,I'm a new member to the forum and figured that this would be a wonderful place to get some good opinions on a future watch purchase that I am considering making. The two watches that I am going back and forth between are the Rolex GMT Master 2 116710BLNR (Batman) and the Audemars Piguet 15450ST.I love the look of both of these watches but I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to weigh out the pros and cons.
New Addition, and new shoes
Hello Everyone! It has been a while since I last posted on this forum, but recently I found a good reason to do so: I bought another Royal Oak from DavidSW. This time it was an Offshore, Navy. What can I say, an AMAZING transaction as always, and a spectacular piece! And, having APSC so close to where I live, it just made it so much easier for me to almost immediately get new shoes for my new ROO. BTW, Ms, Lindsay Peterson (After Sales) and Kevin (Watchmaker), at APSC, were incredibly welcoming / friendly / professional. They helped me with the parts department in sourcing the the navy blue hornback strap. It is always a treat to stop by their offices! As much as like the rubber strap, the blue hornback looks just at home on my RO; at least to me. Below, please find some pics. I really like this combo. Thanks!
