Watches NEWS
Target audience of AP
Wanted to run an observation by the group here. I've been a fan on the Brand and the quality of the watches and movement finishing for a while but something is keeping me away. I've started to notice younger and younger aged gentlemen wearing APs. Mostly Rubber Clad/Offshore and few Royal Oaks. The marketing too has gone heavy on sports, and social media. Also seeing virtually no adverts or launches for the non Royal Oak line or dress watches which is a shame. Has AP changed things around when it comes to the target audience? It's a superb brand and watch maker, but it feels like more a fashion icon/status symbol in last few months to years. Speedy 145.022 '68 back from the spa!
Arrived yesterday after a movement service. Also had a Priek caseback installed so I can enjoy the view. Not a fan of the 1039 bracelet, so trying out a couple of kevlar straps with it.
Hey there dr kol
Does anyone here have the nautilus cufflinks? In particular, the 205.9057G?If so, do they catch the light the same way the dial on the 5711 does for example?Anyone have any pics of them to share?
Milgauss with a croc leather strap
Got my first Rolex few months ago. I decided to get a leather strap to see how it would look like. Ordered from a Taiwan strap maker Cheergiant, waited for few weeks and finally got the strap two days ago. I think Milgauss + Black strap look really good! I especially like the textures of this croc strap, different from others!
Trade in Parts
Does anyone know what the RSC does with all of Your Parts they keep after servicing your watch and installing some new parts ?
