Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph Ref. 5980 Watch
New Patek Philippe watches for 2010 didn't exactly make me jump for joy, but I did like the two new additions to the Nautilus collection. No new movements, but new implementations in the Nautilus cases. Here is the Nautilus Chronograph (ref. 5980 in steel and 5980R in gold), and I also liked the Nautilus Annual Calendar Ref. 5726 that I wrote about here. What I like about the layout of the Patek Philippe Caliber CH 280520 C is that is it is a 12 hour chronograph that looks like a watch with only a subsidiary seconds dial (more or less) - and is still easy to read. Pretty nice looking addition to Patek's sport watch collection.See my article on the Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph watch on AskMenwatches-dealer here.See Patek Philippe watches on eBay here.See Patek Philippe watches on Amazon here. 2 Rolex out, 1 AP in - Thoughts
Hi allThinking of down sizing my collection, currently consisting of SS Daytona, Ceramic Sub Date and YM blue dial. The trade would involve chopping in the sub and yacht for a new AP royal oak stainless chronograph.I'm just not getting the wear from 3 watches.Daytona would become the daily watch, reserving the AP for special occasions.Thoughts?
3rd year warranty sticker
Hi,Just wondering if anyone has experience in registering for the 3rd year warranty sticker from AP through their website and approximately how long it took to receive the sticker (I am located in Canada).I registered my ROC 2 weeks ago and haven't received any updates since, so not sure if it's en route or if I need to follow up. It could also just be me being impatient, as waiting for stuff to arrive is not one of my strengths Would be appreciated if others can let me know approximately how long I should wait before following up, and who I may be able to follow up with.Cheers,James
116610LV Availability?
As the title states, I'm looking to get my second Rolex; a 116610LV Hulk. I've been eyeing this watch since the first green bezel came on the market when it was the 50th Anniversary edition. Waited long enough and decided to get this for myself this February for a milestone birthday. Figure this will last longer than a 24 month lease on a 911 Carrera and I'll enjoy it more in the long run.Question I have after reading through some of the most recent posts about the 116610LV is availability. Seems like it may be tough to find one these days. Can anyone confirm? I haven't stopped in to any AD's yet, but planning to initiate some dialogue over email first. Is a discount of any kind even remotely possible for this watch now due to the high demand? I don't have a relationship with any dealers unfortunately, but still curious to see it there's any room on the price and if so what's the best approach? Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated. Sent from my BLN-L24 using Tapatalk
