De Bethune DBS Tourbillon Watch For 2015
Baselworld 2015 sees the release of the De Bethune DBS Tourbillon, a futuristic homage to the brand's recent past. The De Bethune DBS Tourbillon's raison d'etre is to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the De Bethune DBS, and to simultaneously showcase how far this ambitious company has come in the last decade. Founded in 2002, the manufacture has created a recognizable brand aesthetic that counts distinctive size, astute visual consistency, and surprisingly unusual color schemes amongst its most eye-catching traits. By adding a tourbillon to the De Bethune DBS model, De Bethune is updating one of its more iconic pieces for their avid fans. Such an operating speed is made possible by the weight (or lack thereof) of the 63 components that are used in the tourbillon's construction. Audemars Annual Calendar
This AP annual calendar in SS seems like a great deal. Any members know the history or have more info on this watch. It appears to be good bang for the buck.
Scott Carpenter has died.
I just learned that Scott Carpenter, one of the original Mercury astronauts, has died. I have always admired America's first space pioneers, of which Scott was among the very first group. He was the second to orbit the Earth. As I have posted before, earlier this year, I bought the commemorative Breitling Cosmonaute, a Navitimer similar to the one worn by Commander Carpenter during that mission. The watch has a 24 hour dial. The case back bears his name.It just so happened that I am wearing that watch today, the day of Commander Carpenter's death. I'm glad to wear it today, of all days, it helps me to pause and wish Commander Carpenter Godspeed as he begins his next journey.Thank you for your service, to America and to humankind, Commander. Rest in Peace.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1381438459.098688.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1381438488.983712.jpg
2013 Omega Seamater PO
Hello, I'm thinking about picking up a 2013 Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 38mm. I am getting it from a very reputable seller that I have purchased from in the past. It appears to be in excellent condition, however is their anything I should be concerned about on a watch that is 5 years old. Will this watch need a servicing in the near future? Thanks in advance for any assistance that can be offered.

Hi guys,I am traveling to Hawaii in August with the wife and I am looking at picking up either an 8500 or a 9300. What prices should I be looking at? The prices and taxes here in Australia are prohibitive...Any advice is appreciated....
