Schofield Signalman GMT Watches
For a while I was talking to Giles Ellis as he was in the midst of starting a watch brand. It was interesting to see yet another independent watch brand thrust themselves along supported by one enthusiastic founder faced with a number of challenges. Ellis, and Englishman, wanted a watch that reflected his tastes and ideals. For him Schofield is a true Gentleman's brand and offers the types of watches he wants to hear. He has great admiration for both the historic and contemporary English watch makers that are helping to bring horological street cred back to the UK.Schofield's first pieces are called the Signalman. Two watches, both limited editions, that are offered in a polished steel or matte DLC coated black steel case. The case is pretty interesting and unfortunately doesn't come across super well in these images. I will try to do some hands-on stuff in the future. It is 44mm wide and produced locally in Britain.? Preliminary work for the site's preparation has already been completed, with the first operations to be undertaken in coming weeks. The design and implementation will be carried out by the architectural team of Gebert, Strassler & Storck, in association with BG Group Consulting Engineers. In addition to the comprehensive range of industrial operations to be housed in Rolex's updated Bienne manufactory, the integrated facility will also offer such perks as supplementary underground parking space, supply areas, several cafeterias, and a fine restaurant.

Price Increase???

Bond 23 aka SkyFall watch update
Hello everyone,This is my first offical post though I have been following the forum for about a year. I was recently in NYC and went into the Omega store to look at watches and talk shop. Looking at the new Planet Oceans sparked a conversation about Daniel Craig visiting the store last week and purchasing an Aqua Terra for himself and one for his wife for the holiday season.This is no confirmation, but would suggest that, a strong relationship with Omega continues. Hope that people find this info interesting, I know that I did.

Your watch at airport security
Just curious to hear what you do when asked to remove your watch?Do you remove it an put it directly in the little plastic box provided by security or do you put it in a carry-on bag so as not to scratch it? Or do you travel with the little green watch pouch provided by Rolex or something similar?I just got mine a few weeks ago and will be traveling soon. Might take the little green pouch/sleeve with me and put it in my carry-on bag just before security.
