Why Apple Wants The Apple Watch Approved By The Design & Fashion Community
The official announcement of the Apple Watch has answered many of the broader questions about the company's first, and?much anticipated, venture into?wearable tech.?For an in-depth?look at what it will offer, check out our hands-on coverage about the Apple Watch, but for now, let us just say that we?know what it will look like, what key functions it will have, and how we will be able to customize it so that it suits our personal style better. With that said, there are many details which?are yet to be clarified, one of the more interesting ones being, in what new ways the Apple Watch will be offered for customers, beyond having it displayed in its own stores. For the very first time since Tim Cook announced it a few weeks ago C and?for just one day this week C the Apple Watch was?on public display at high-end Parisian concept boutique store, colette. Notably, Apple organized this in?an effort to?bring the Apple Watch, albeit temporarily, closer to fashionistas attending the Paris Fashion
Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 3 Watch
Welcome to the third installment of the Historie de Tourbillon watch collection from Harry Winston. These pieces have always amused and entertained me. For instance, when they came out with the first Historie de Tourbillon watch here I compared it to Star Wars droids. This third piece is something altogether new but retains the conceptual focus on complex tourbillons and the visualization thereof. For me the design of this watch looks like a combination of MB&F (HM2) and DeWitt. Each combing together with some Harry Winston in a sort of "wants to be, but isn't quite Opus way." Harry Winston got its claim to fame via the famed Opus collection that asked independent watch makers to create special limited edition series for the brand. While continuing the Opus collection Harry Winston has also furthered their own creative spirit with wild high-end pieces in other collections. They are cool, but they still look up to "Uncle Opus" for approval and inspiration. The Historie de Tourbillon 3

I haz a sad... and a practical question
Traveling in Europe with my aquanaut travel time and looked down this morning to see this: I didn't bang it on anything I can recall. I have one general and two specific questions: 1. Any of you experienced a similar issue and was it an easy fix? 2. I would assume water resistance is probably not affected with the loss of the button. Any opinions? Thanks in advance for feedback. I still love the watch and am totally bummed that I will have to give it up for a while to have it repaired. Hopefully since it's within the first year, warranty should give me some cover. UK AD nonsense to be practiced in US.
Was at my AD today and placed a deposit on a GMT 2 tone that will be a gift for my uncle. After I give the deposit he tells me that since its a gift they will retain the warranty card until he confirmed receipt of said gift. I was shocked. He then shows me an email from rolex that says best practices since the rolex product is in auch high demand Rolex Authorized Jewelers must adopt Rolex's Best Practices 1) no warranty card to be left blank 2) all watches must be sold in store and stickers must be peeled at time of purchase. 3) if watch is a gift then warranty card will be retained till the gift is confirmed and then will be shipped to the recipient. I was in shock! Long story short, I have a very good relationship with my AD and he knows my family very well so he agreed to ship the card with the watch. Rolex is really starting to get out of hand.
