In search of Ceramic Diver (orange)
I have a 15305OR I wear to work quite often and need a sports watch with durability. Therefore, I want a watch with either ceramic or forged carbon material. I have a smaller wrist, and a 44mm is just way too big. The 42 mm is even slightly pushing it. I've been thinking a while about and have decided upon the Ceramic diver with orange accents. It seems these are much harder to find than its counterpart with yellow accents - why is that? I saw a used yellow one for sale around $17k. It seems most others sell just under MSRP even though used....wondering what's a good price range?Since it's a discontinued model, anyone have any leads? Sent from my Zeitwerk
Trip to Vegas Boutique
Just got back from Christmas in Vegas. Took a trip around to most of the watch shops. No surprise my favorite was the AP Boutique.Molly, the salesperson, was really nice and encouraged me to try on almost all the pieces. Finally got to see a 26320 blue dial in person. Pictures do not do this blue dial justice at all! It's definitely on the list now. Also tried on a 26320 in gold with a white dial. Absolutely stunning piece. After trying on a PP 5711 in gold and a DD40 in platinum I'd have to say that the 26320 is my favorite. It's now my grail and I hope to be fortunate enough to have one some day.Picture of the 26320 gold with my 15400 black dial.

Speedmaster movement durability?
All, in considering a Speedmaster, what do you know about the durability of the manual movement on the Speedy Pro vs. the 33XX on the other (Legend, GMT, etc) Speedmasters?I'm inclined towards the Speedies that have a sapphire crystal, increased water resistance and a date function, but I do like the look and aspects of the hesalite crystal and the plain, very legible uncluttered dial of the basic, good ol' Speedy Pro.And I've been reasearching and reading some remarks that the 33XX movements have had some problems.Views? Thanks,C
Closest Patek to a Rolex
It seems to me that the Aquanaut 5167 1A is the closest Patek to a Rolex because:*It has a 40mm case*It is water rated to 120 meters*It isn't a grand complication*It has a ss or tropic rubber strap option*It has a screw in locking crown*It has a 28,800 bph movement*It has crown guards;*It has an instant date change at midnight;*It has a centrally located auto winding rotor. So should one just consider it as a Rolex alternative to say a Submariner?
