Omega Water Resistance..
We occasionally get questions about How deep can I go with my Omega ?This helpfull chart is from the Omega Site..
Old Dynamic questions
Just bought this little beauty off EBay. Had a few questions after doing a bit of research. I posted it on the Omega forum but no one has replied. I believe it to be genuine but have not seen another with the white second hand. All the others have blue second hands. Also my bracelet links are rolled sandwich links and all the others I have seen are solid. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Are your Pam's accurate? mine aren't...
Been noticing some problems on my Pams, haven't yet been keeping exact track, started tonight though, but they clearly don't keep very good time, from what it seems to me, again I haven't yet kept a clear record yet, in 1 week they have more or less 1-2 minutes difference with the exact time, as for power reserve they are fine except for my 233, sometimes it's ok, sometimes in 3 hours 20-25% of the power reserve is gone after rewinding, then it seems to go away slower, and sometimes it works normally. I will keep a close watch on both power reserve and accuracy, and see how it goes, but for 3 new unworn watches from years 2000 and 2009 it's not very encouraging, especially knowing that I am very careful with them, never drop them or hit something…I found a graphic here which shows parameters for chronometer watches, clearly I am way out of of the acceptance… It seems to me that I am in typical for vintage mechanical watch, which for me my Pam's are clearly not vintage, but
Love the sport/professional models, BUT.......
I'm an absolute Rolex fan, and love the brand for many reasons. I've tried others, but other than a G-shock, it's all I have. Having said that, I'm aggravated with the current situation. So I've decided to sort of .....circumvent the current issues. I feel fortunate that I can go about it this way, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar thoughts? I love the sport/professional models, but with the shortages, wait lists, case changes, recent rumors, etc.... I've changed my way of thinking/buying (for now)So I'm staying modern while avoiding all the things mentioned above...Meaning....a collection of.. PM DD 40, PM Daytona, SS Date-just. 2 oyster bracelet, 2 pres bracelet, 2 smooth bezel, 1 fluted, 1 sport bezel. Very happy not thinking about what case, lug size, bezel, etc...change is coming. So for now....loving the classic shapes, dials, colors, and ease of finding inventory! Love looking forward to the new releases, but simple modern/classic case & lug sizes are my go to
