Just curious what the history behind the time piece is and if it's a good purchase. I know nothing about the brand but love the watch and found it for a cheap price of 11k!

Bracelet Options for SMP??
Hi all. I'd like to put a rubber bracelet and or a different SS bracelet on my Seamaster (BTW watch was purchased in 2003), any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here is a quick I phone pic. Thanks Matt

While working at the Port Columbus Airport today I recognized a fellow a couple people ahead of me in the TSA line. Then it dawned on me that it was the former head of NASA (sorry, can't remember his name). The TSA was really giving his luggage a going over so I had the time to ask him if he indeed was who I thought he was. He was nice enough to confirm my suspicions. But what actually caught me eye originally was his watch. I then asked and is that a Speedy you are wearing? He smiled and said it sure is. I responded how appropriate. I thanked him for his work and wished safe travels.dP

i read on another site while browsing that you should never unscrew it without reason- this makes sense, but being a typical man i have already done this without reason because...'it was there'have i done something terrible- i still dont understand it being that i will probably not go much deeper then 10 meters

Analysis on people fighting over BLNR discontinuance news/rumors
Case 1. BLNR is going to be discontinued!!!- Some owners : No...my watch is being discontinued..? I know there's nothing that can be done about it...but it's somewhat disappointing & depressing.- Some owners : YES!! The value of my watch will now go up!! Too many people already have BLNR in their possession anyway...It's about time that Rolex discontinued the BLNR.- Pursuers : NO!!! This can't be !!!
