My First Grail Watch: Victor Marks
Welcome back to an original watches-dealer feature, "My First Grail Watch." In this series, we ask prominent people in the watch industry about the first timepiece that they lusted after. Today, we're giving you some insight into what drives one of our team members, Victor Marks, along with some philosophical pondering on "the one that got away."watches-dealer (ABTW): Who are you, and what is your relationship to the watch industry?Victor Marks:?I'm Victor Marks, and I'm a watch aficionado and tinkerer. As a child, I took apart and re-assembled my toys. My parents built the family TV set. I used to make robots from electric typewriter motors. Whatever we wanted, making was an option instead of buying. It's been a family value of ours that we made instead of buying and did all the service work ourselves. When I bought my first car, I bought a set of tools and a shop manual and worked on it while my father would read the Sunday paper. When I taught myself to play guitar, I learned how to
Hands-On with the Bravur BW002
About two years ago, we reviewed the first line of watches by the Swedish brand Bravur, the BW001. Their unique take on a modern minimal design, backed by a great case, made the watches successful pieces, though their prices were a bit higher than desired. Recently, they released a follow up model, the BW002, which takes their aesthetic into even cleaner territory. While co-exisitng with the previous watch, I do get the feeling that BW002 is an evolution on their aesthetic concept. As such, there are small differences that feel like improvements throughout the design. It's a bit smaller and more sparse, perhaps simpler in general, but comes across a bit tighter and more harmonious. With a slightly reduced price tag starting at $625, the BW002 is still on the high side for a quartz, but has many great features with taking a closer look at.Hands-On with the Bravur BW002Case: SteelMovement: Ronda 785Dial: Gray + SIlver/WhiteLume: NoLens: SapphireStrap: LeatherWater Res.: 5 ATMDimensions:

What's the Preferred 5205 version these days ?
Just curious...I know that a good answer is if you want it more sporty go White gold 2 Color dials versions (5205g black, 5205g Grey) and if you want more dressy go with Rose gold 1 color dial versions (5205r White, 5205r Black)But my question is if you list these 4 watches for sale Now which one will be more likely to sell quicker. Thanks for your input
