Manufacture Royale Opera Time-Piece Watch

I just had to plod through Manufacture Royale's nine page long bloody press release - only to have reasserted what they mention in the first few lines; that they are "unashamedly elitist." Wipe my brow and hand me an ol' timey hallucinogenic absinthe, because I need to lay back in a hammock on a steamship and read some Jules Verne to appreciate this steampunk mechanaut.Oh how right it would be for the good people behind the conception of this watch to redo their text and branding on the watch. It is a cool thing, and the overgrown child in my loves this oddity - but they really need to take it down a few notches. I kid you not: in a nutshell, the brand would have you believe that this watch not only sets the bar upon which all future watches must be judged, but also claims that according to the designer this watch release is one step closer to realizing a dream of utopia. I got the disease need help with the diagnostic JLC or AP.
Hi Guys,Not trying to double post but I did post this earlier today on the non-rolex forum section and someone suggested I post here as well.Seeking some feedback and opinions. I currently own a JLC Master Compressor Navy Seal and a JLC Master compressor chrono 2, I feel the need for some change as both of my watches are different in some aspect but also similar in others.I was thinking of parting with the Navy Seal and replace it with a AP ROO Diver. What do you guys think, am I crazy or was I just got the AP disease ?Cheers

With it's sublime matte dial, painted markers, and brushed steel bracelet,(but looks equally great on a strap), I always thought this was a great collection. Bonus that it draws inspiration from the original Railmasters of the 1950s. Show em' if you got em'!

what to check when buying a new rolex?
Apologies, I'm sure it must have been asked before.I'm going to buy a new rolex from an AD I haven't used before. I'm sure they're reputable, or at least, I assume they are and they're linked from Rolex AD site.What would be sensible due diligence to do at the shop when I pick up the watch?Compare serial number on the paperwork with the watch (is it in an easy to read place on the watch?)Any other common sense stuff should do?
