Visual Quiz: Sports Watches
It's time again to test your watchspotting skills. We've lined up a dozen sports watches, partially obscured behind a jacket sleeve and shirt cuff for you fellows who mix fine fabrics and sporting steel. Can you identify these timepieces? As always, the answers appear at the bottom. Good luck!
Need advice on a possible trade
I have been offered to trade my 2017 26401.002 RG44 novelty black subdials +8K for a 26331.OR blue dial full bracelet that can be found below. https://.audemarspiguet/en/wa....OO.1220OR.01/I've been longing for a RO PM bracelet but I am not sure if trading my piece would be the best move. It is something that is obtainable but I feel that I may be blinded by the strong desire I currently have for the bracelet. Anybody can chime in and either talk me in or out of this madness?Honest thought are appreciated. Thanks.
One and Only - 26320 SS - Black or Silver Dial?
Hello!New to AP. I have been a purely Rolex guy for the past few years and have come to realize I really don't love that much in the collection on my wrist. Love my 114060 but that's about it.I have been thinking about getting a SS 26320 as my only watch. If it is my only watch would you recommend black or silver dial?I go back and forth on this a lot and like both. Generally I would think go black as it is more versatile, however the silver and the brushed finish make the watch versatile as well.Would love some thoughts (and pictures) to help me decide!
Patek 5167R for Rolex 116619LB
Hello AllI know ultimately it's down to my preference but I'm having a difficult time deciding what to do and could use some advice. My existing collection comprises of:Patek Philippe 5168GPatek Philippe 5167RPatek Philippe 5167ARolex 116610LVRolex 116500LNRolex 16610Jaeger LeCoultre HometimeI love wearing the 5167R but having three Aquanauts means it's worn less frequently. I've already got two Submariners although the dial colours are different. I'm considering flipping the 5167R for a Rolex 116619LB plus 2500 cash.Do you think this would be a good deal financially?Would the blue dialled white gold Submariner be a good addition to my existing collection?I appreciate your comments.
A Costly Lesson!
Take my advice, if you own this watch never let it go! I bought this watch before discontinuation because I genuinely liked the watch but then got caught up in the value hype train and traded it for a BLNR. Then began a flipping frenzy because nothing lived up to the quality of this timepiece! Ive been through them all, BLNR, Hulk, SUBC No Date, SUB C Date and I finally managed to get this future legendary piece back 4000 dearer than what I originally paid! Ouch! But in my eyes this is the best Sports model money can buy! Just don't make the same costly mistake I made! P.S. I can finally sleep at night now without waking up in a panic/regret attack of letting my grail go!
