F.P. Journe Presents the Nouvelle Octa Lune
During SIHH in Geneva last month, independent watch brand F.P. Journe introduced updated versions of the moon-phase watch in its Octa Collection. The Nouvelle Octa Lune is available in two case materials. Its dial has been rearranged from that of its predecessor, and it’s now available in a larger size.The F.P. Journe Octa Collection to date has consisted of seven watches, including a world timer and an annual calendar. Many of the watches make use of off-center displays for their various functions. Still, the dial design remains simple with good legibility. The watches have also made use of moderate sizes: most of the models come in 38-mm and 40-mm case diameters.For 2015, Journe made slight alterations to the layout of the original Octa Lune. Most noticeably, the F.P. What have you done to me????
When I first saw APs on forums and on line, they really didn't appeal to me. But over the past 3-4 months I have been spending more time in the AP section than the Rolex section here on the ROLEX forum. I don't even have an AP yet, but I'm gravitating more and more towards the AP brand than Rolex or any other brand. 6-12 months ago, they did nothing for me and now I am enthralled by the AP brand. so My question, has anyone come full circle going from having no interest in a brand like AP, to being completely crazy for that brand???I still plan to make my next purchase of a PAM 312, but hopefully early next year I can get my self a Diver on a bracelet!

Impulse purchased a used Speedmaster. HELP!
I was looking for a used/beater (under $1000) Speedmaster reduced for when I leave my Rolex Sub at home and came across this one on ebay (link Below). I was a bit impulsive and bought it without doing enough research and now I have some questions. The watch looks to be in ok shape except for the case back which just says Omega instead of Speedmaster and the black bezel which is scratched. Why would that be? If its the wrong caseback, would Omega have the right one for sale as well as a new bezel? How much is a full service for this watch? Also, how bad a deal did I make due to my impulsiveness?
