Omega Launches iPhone App
Omega puts its world at your fingertips with its new iPhone app. Carry the entire collection, including images and technical data about every Omega watch, in your pocket. The Watchfinder function lets you select the timepieces that have the exact specifications you are looking for, and you can save your choices as Favorites. The app also displays the correct time and date on a De Ville Hour Vision. Tap the dial and view the animated Co-Axial caliber 8611 through the sapphire case back. Regular news updates will keep you in touch with the latest Omega stories. There is also a selection of wallpapers, including popular timepieces and brand ambassadors such as George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Cindy Crawford, Zhang Ziyi and Michael Phelps. And yet another first time Omega owner
I've been collecting Rolex for quite a few years now, both new and vintage, then also bought new Tudor but for some reason Omega never really sang to me.I started to look for a new Rolex but with the near impossibility of buying a SS Sports watch from a UK AD, I was looking at an AD's near empty Rolex window, when I saw the Omega display next to it. As soon as I saw the Planet Ocean I was blown away.As has been commented on by other first time owners, the box is better than Rolex and the quality and finish of the watch is incredible. It is great to have a watch with a completely different set of styling features, including thick polished bevels on the sides, a ceramic dial, lume in blue and green, a movement that can be seen through the case back and with METAS certification which is +0.5 secs per day. It's now got me looking at older models and a Speedy Reduced may well be next in a few months. It's great to post as a proud owner in The Omega section of the forum
SMP 300m Diver
Hi,Does anyone know if Omega will upgrade the 300m diver to a Master Co-Axial movement?I am trying hard to get a newer 2200.80 with the 2500d mov't as I like the wave dial pattern. Any chance of the wave coming back with a ceramic bezel and Master Co-Axial?Or am I asking too much?
Patek Self Winding Rotor
Does anyone know if all Pateks make a buzzing sound when you move your wrist? I heard it is the rotor in the watch but I'm not sure. I have owned multiple rolexs and haven't heard anything. My buddy has 5327 and tells me he can hear a buzzing when twisting his wrist.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sport watch for every day... max 40mm
I'm stuck ! I have a 39 mm OP Blue dial - love it ! Almost too much to wear every day Also have a Tudor Black bay blue ...The Sub no date would be a good choice but I have tried it on several times and find it just too large for me The black bay is a tad large but wearable / sub is just bigger I'd like to stay in the current line up - Thought abut the Explorer ? It's in the running but something about it has not clicked What else should be in the running ?.... I'd like to stay with Rolex
