Introducing the Baume & Mercier Clifton Retrograde Date Automatic (Live Pics, Details, & Pricing)
Inspired by 1950s references, Baume & Mercier first introduced the Clifton Collection at SIHH 2013. This year, the brand builds on the introductory time-only pieces by introducing new complications, including the handsome?Clifton chronograph?we recently showed you. Of the new releases, there is one in particular that succeeds in balancing wearability, practicality, and just a touch of something different: the Clifton Retrograde Date Automaticpared to the standard method for displaying the date C via an aperture C the retrograde date function is more difficult to seamlessly incorporate into the design of a dial. Roo ti
Hi Guys ! Found a interesting looking ROO in Ti which I knew about but hadn't see in the flesh before. Wore it & loved it. Gives you the look without the heft. I wanted to see who on the forum owns it and has had experience with this piece before I really give it a closer look. Happy Thanksgiving Guys. 🍗🍻

Submariner should cost...
Found this ad from presumably 1975 for the Submariner priced at $470. With a quick computation on the inflation calculator, the cost today would be $2250. Interestingly, the exchange rate of the Swiss Franc went from 3+:1 in the 70's to about 1:1 today. Perhaps this is the reason other Swiss watch brands followed the same trend?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
