Summer Watch Guide 2014
Being that yesterday was Memorial Day, a day that might mark the beginning of summer hours if you work somewhere that believes in such things, it seems like an appropriate day for a summer watch guide! What's a summer watch? Well�� Any watch is really a summer watch, but the ones included here are easy to wear, on the smaller side, and can easily be put on a nylon NATO for those sweaty days.For the sake of variety, we broke the list up into "sporty" watches and "casual" watches��the main difference really being toughness and aggressive styling. ROO SS 44 measurements?
HiI'm currently considering buying a 44mm SS ROO. (My first AP ) I don't live anywhere near an AD, but tried on the 44mm ROO in forged carbon 2-3 years ago whilst on holiday in Miami. Not remembering how it looked on my wrist (my wrist is 6.75 inches and fairly flat) I was wondering if someone could help me out with measurements in mm from the picture I've attached? This way at least I can compare it to my other watches - Rolex, B&R.

Omega..By Royal appointment!
Well, maybe not by appointment! I was in the line up at my grocery store checkout today and noticed the cover of Hello magazine had a picture of Prince William wearing a watch! Well, being the true WIS that I am I had to have a look!It looks like a seamaster with hollow hands, black bezel and dial, I am guessing about 40mm in size.If anyone has seen a closer picture and can confirm or correct that would be great!I have a lot of time for the Royal family, hard workers and this young man seems like a pretty decent sort to me!Anyway, thought it would be interesting..I wonder what the other royals wear?Here is a picture of the cover, could not get a higher def one, it actuall looks like the same seamaster Carl (carhaluss) has!

Yes, yes, I've said I wouldn't buy PP until they cleaned up their servicing act. I'm getting caught up in the pricing bubble.AD is offering 5726/1A at list. Now, or within days/a week.When I've seen these sell used before, they seem to lose $8k-10k on resale. Any reason to expect better value retention going forward?Should I buy or pass? Watch would be a white dial, new with my name on papers.I can get the same deal on a 5712r, but not interested in that watch.Thanks!

Platona Ice Blue Dial with brown subdials
Was at Vegas. Tried on both Platona at vegas bellagio and Caesar's. There is a 7.5k premium for the diamond dial.I was wondering if anyone knew the price of a replacement ice blue non diamond dial to avoid having to purchase both models! I'd only purchase the diamond dial but would love the Brown subdials version to occasionally swap out.
