Ultra-thin is In at Piaget
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of their legendary caliber 12P, the world's thinnest mechanical self-winding movement at that time, Piaget introduces Caliber 1200P, today's thinnest automatic movement at 2.35mm. The new movement is housed in new limited and unlimited Altiplano models, which at 5.25mm are the thinnest automatic watches on the market today. The Altiplano with Calibre 1200P includes an unlimited version with subsidiary seconds, and a special Anniversary Edition with hour and minute hands only. The Anniversary Edition offers a platinum rotor, compared with 22-carat gold in the unlimited models. The Anniversary Edition also features a discrete inscription on the outer edge of the dial, which is adorned with hand guilloch. For the past 50 years, Piaget has been a pioneer and leader in the field of ultra-thin movements. In 1957, Piaget developed Calibre 9P, the world's thinne

In fact, aside from occasionally cursing at one when it flew across the room during an ill-advised late-night impulsive strap change, I had hardly given spring bars any thought on any level at all for pretty much the entire time I’ve been interested in watches (which is longer than I feel like admitting). 1 OF 14 They seem far too flimsy to have any of us trust a $200 Seiko diver to them, let alone, say, a $50,000 vintage Rolex (or whatever) and yet, they seem to be almost boringly reliable – mos
APRP: Training Ground for the Exceptional
Great article on the history of APRP and the many talented watchmakers that have worked there. A watch (AP or maybe an RM) with a movement from APRP is my true Grail. APRP: Training Ground for the Exceptional via watchvillehttps://api.watchville.co/v2/posts/20995/click

Omega best watch accessories kit
Recently I went to Sydney.Omega have their own boutique.I was impressed with this Speedmaster and the beautiful well cased accessories that accompany the watch: I'm not sure what every tool does but it was a pretty nice kit.
