SIHH 2015: Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum (Updated with Live Photos and Prices)
Montblanc has launched a number of new travel-oriented watches at SIHH 2015 in Geneva. One of them, the Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum is a new take on the world timer, showing the hour in 24 time zones at once. The Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum uses an intuitive and visual method to represent world time. The center-mounted hour and minutes hands provide the local time. A rotating 24-hour ring encircles the dial; the small red arrow at 6 o’clock points to the local hour on the ring. The most prominent aspect of the watch, though, is at the center of the display. A sapphire crystal layer within the dial shows the Northern Hemisphere as seen from the North Pole. The continents are cut out, while the surrounding oceans are in blue. As day turns into night, the lower layer of the dial shifts, so that the continents that had been white turn black, and vice versa. (The 24-hour ring also is divided between black and white halves to signal day and night.) The wearer gets a panop
Navitimer 01 is gorgeous
Hey guys,I know this is the Rolex forum so I tread lightly on this when I say that I've been a Rolex owner for quite some time over the years and have owned several models but i've been blown away on the craftsmanship from Bretling on the Navitimer 01.I;ve also owned several models of Breitlings over the years including the 7750 based Navitimer back in the early 2000s. Anyway, I decided to sell my Deep Sea and get the Navitimer 01 and I honestly have not looked back. I know they are totally different watches but the Rolex while exciting to own and know it's level of ingenuity...The Breitling is so beautiful and a joy to read and stare at, etc. The chronos are like a tank with this new movt.70+ hour power reserve...unheard of from Breitling previously or Rolex for that matter on most of their watches. I got the 43mm model as the 46mm was too big. I loved the open back but it didn't look right to me at that size.Anyway, if you haven't looked at this watch in-person...go check it out.
BLNR - My new beauty.
Traded in - Traded up. First pic is my first Rolex I got 10 years ago almost to the date. Second is my new one just purchased today. Tried in a sub date, but the bigger case back with my smaller flatter wrists didn't work. Happy Friday everyone!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rolex Daytona- Seconds hand doesn't move
Good Morning,Hope everyone is doing well and having a great day.So, I have a question for Rolex experts as I've no clue about this watch. I recently bought a Daytona from Bobs watches for my husband and when I received it, I saw its not running as it required winding. I turned the crown clockwise as mentioned in the booklet but the seconds hand doesn't move. It stays at 12:00 position. Can anyone help how to make the seconds hand move. Thanks a lot for all your help.
