Hands-On: The Cl De Cartier In Rose Gold And Steel
Last January at the 2015 edition of the SIHH, Cartier launched a major new family of wristwatches called the Clé De Cartier – named for the key-like, oblong winding and setting crown set into the flank of the case. We went hands on with the original launch models and we were very impressed by not only the visual, but also the tactile aspects of the design – the watch felt great in the hand and on the wrist, and the crown was just different enough to give a tingle of pleasure, but not so unusual as to become an obstacle to convenience. The Clé De Cartier family was also the launch platform for a new movement: the Cartier caliber 1847, which is the newest in-house general purpose Cartier movement, as well as its least expensive. 14060 vs 14060m
Hey everybody. I'm well on my way in my quest to get my Sub No-Date (1/3 the way there to be exact ) And I came accross something that I just couldnt find anywhere. I know they had non cosc 14060's and 14060M's but what is the difference between them. I thought this would have been discussed on here but I couldnt find it. There is probably some difference in the movement or something but I just need someone to enlighten me on the details. Also, based on whatever the diferences are would it be worth it to add the extra cash to get the M or just get the older model. Thanks in advance for your insight!
Rolex Sport Model Shortage
Back when I purchased my no date SS Sub in July, I thought the dealers were bluffing when they said it was going to be impossible to get a SS Sub by the latter part of the year. Well, it turns out maybe they were right. My friend here in Dallas has been trying to get one, and after calling all the dealers within 100 miles, no luck. They have told him it could be Feb/March before they are available again.Crazy. Guess that means ours have gotten at least a temporary bump in value
