Eterna Royal KonTiki Chronograph GMT Watch Debuts With New Movement
For Baselworld 2015, Eterna will debut a brand new version of its in-house made Calibre 39 movement known as the Calibre 3927A. This automatic chronograph GMT holds a lot of merit and will first exist inside of the new Eterna Royal KonTiki Chronograph GMT watch. Eterna made the decision to house the new movement in a relatively wildly colored watch, and hopefully, there will be more styles available when the watch launches soon. Until then, let's check out the Eterna Royal KonTiki Chronograph GMT that looks pretty cool on paper.Eterna debuted their new in-house Calibre 39 movement here back in 2013. The movement was to serve as a base for a range of other movements. Eterna claims that the Calibre 39 can be used as the basis for "no fewer than 88 different movements." Given the watch industry's regular pandering to Chinese love of the number "8," this figure seems a bit dubious/arbitrary. I am pretty sure it is just 87 different movementsIn any event, the Calibre 39 is a great engine an
New 39mm ROC Panda
The 41mm Royal Oaks are just too big for my wrist, but I like buying new so this does rather limit my choice. Last summer I picked up my first AP, a 39mm RG dual time which i really enjoy wearing (but only for best!). So I wanted to add a more casual 39mm RO. The 15202 is a lovely watch but too close to my 5711. Then I saw here that Lapince had bought brand new blue 15300 on chrono24. This got me having a good look at the new 39mm ROs offered on chrono24 and there are a few. I guess these have just been kept in dealer safes for some reason. A panda 39mm ROC NOS was available which ticked all the boxes so decided to go for it. I just received it today after getting a maintenance service done by AP for the seals. I think it looks fantastic and I'm delighted with it. The size and fit is just right and the black and red aspects really set off the dial. It slots straight into my collection (replacing a Daytona which hopefully my brother is going to acquire). It's interesting that it's possib
GMT on rubber strap question
Hi guys,Just a quick question, I really like the look of the Planet Ocean rubber strap with buckle. Will this strap fit on my GMT? The lugs are 20mm but I am more concerned with the thickness. Thanks in advance....

Gotta Love the Speedies
Especially the Apollo Soyuz ,has anybody else got one of these?I got mine May 2010, and love it to bits but does anyone think much to them? They seemed to hang around a bit in the AD's but i dont see that many come up for sale now.I have an 80's speedmaster and that looks fantastic, im a big fan of Speedmaster and most of the Ltd Editions, thogh tried an Alaska Prject on which i had wanted for a while, wasnt my cup of tea which i was a bit disappointed about.Would love to see other peoples Speedies!
