DeMonaco Carree d'Or Black Pearl Grand Tourbillon XP Watch Spotted
This watch is really a fine luxury timepiece with a classic look from a new watch maker. The brand is Ateliers DeMonaco, and is meant to be a mix of Swiss watch making finesse with Monaco style and attitude. The watches come in various forms with the square models being my favorite. They feature three different styled faces in various colors. The faces have either Roman or Arabic numerals, or pictured with simple hour markers. These are some of the first actual images of the watch after its unveiling that I've seen and I have to say that I am impressed. Not only does the face and dial look deliciously elegant, but look at that decorated movement and rotor! Seeing such high engraved and decorated rotors is very rare. Once you are accustomed to wear timepieces of Herme, it is quite difficult to choose another brand. Recommendations for a former Rolex wearer?
I'm just learning about Breitling's and to be honest, I've seen them in stores and never took a second look at them, primarily because they looked huge and enormous. What are some models that are not so huge and weigh a ton? I've recenlty sold two submariners and I'm looking for something a little more original that every Tom, Dick and Harry isn't wearing. Any recommendations? I'm not a huge, huge, guy, med athletic build, Hence I hear all the former NFL players, TV sportscasters are all big Breitling fans, ..Thanks

PP 5164 Comfort, et al.
Mates - I'm seriously considering the 5164 and read many conflicting posts on these topics. Specifically referencing the movement noise, is there anything else detracting about this piece ? I also swim occasionally and it would be nice with this on but I've read about the pushers as a deterrent. I'm sure they are sealed. Finally, how bulky is the piece ? I've owned a 5167 which was thinner and wondering if the size of the 5164 on rubber becomes off centered due to its heft or if it sits as comfortably and flat as my 5167 did. Thanks again for all comments !
