Monochrome Monday: Introducing The Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium
Audemars Piguet has improved the annual calendar so that it almost becomes a perpetual calendar. That might sound strange, but we'll explain. This new calendar is function makes its debut in the?Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium. (The name is Latin for a quadrennium, which?is a four-year period.) The watch also features the famous AP escapement, making for an altogether interesting timepiece. The Audemars Piguet Millenary has always been a rather oddly shaped timepiece, often chosen by collectors who are drawn to the elegant, oval case, with its beautiful, alternating satin-brushed and polished finishing and stepped lugs. Millenary watches always features an off-center dial, which was probably most notable on the magnificent Millenary Star Wheel that we reviewed extensively on Monochrome Watches. The new Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium has a large off-center dial for the hours, minutes, date, month and day of the week, along with a small subdial for the running seconds.
Excellent web-site
I intend to buying an Omega Constellation 'C' case, model reference 168008 that comes with a caliber 564. However the seller, who is deemed to be reputable (there is nothing to prove otherwise) states:THIS IS A COPY OF THE OMEGA'S SITE DATABASE INFORMATION.As you can see caliber 561 was created in 1958 and caliber 564 was created in 1965 However this especial timepiece is very rare because it comes in a rare combination of yellow and white gold. I wasn't able to find information about this exact model As you can see on this Omega's site database you can see information about reference BB 168 009 and BA 168 009 but not about reference number 168 008 WHICH MAKES MY WATCH MUCH DESIRABLE AND EXTREMELLY RARE.!!! This watch may have existed with different dials. More product information Case : C shape (35 mm diameter), 18K solid yellow gold For leather straps of 19 mm lug-size International Collection : 1967-1972 Swiss retail price (1971) : CHF 1'550.- Also available on 18K solid gold brace
Is Panerai COMING back?
Lately seems like a lot of people are buying Panerai. Is the brand coming back or people buying because of the steep discounts that can be offered? For a while I was thinking to sell my 389 & 662 that I acquired last year which I've worn 5x.
AD requested to cancel deposit paid?
I hv paid a deposit to an AD for a hulk which now they have been asking me to cancel the booking due to they don’t know when they will get one in. Is it legally they can do so? Or they have to deliver if I disagree to it if I don’t mind the wait?Anyone has encounter this before ? I assume it is a valid contract they must deliver. They offered to put a deposit and I accepted it.
GMT Master
Guys,I am pretty much sold on the pre ceramic GMT master pepsi bezel. The problem is, I will probably need to part with my Explorer, I intentionally bought the Explorer to flip it to other models in the future but I really bonded with my Explorer, I wish I could afford both of them but I can't as a flying student I can barley afford one of them...I would like to ask you guys, for a fair deal, how much would you say I need to add for a pepsi GMT from around 2000's? I have the 114270 model...The thing that rrally made me want a GMT is this:https://youtu.be/jJNZbvRLAUU
