Seiko SKX007 Review
Today, we're rectifying a huge omission on our part. After 4 years, we're finally reviewing the Seiko SKX007. The SKX007 is one of the most iconic divers currently on the market. If the Submariner is the quintessential modern dive watch in the luxury market, then the SKX007 is, without a doubt, its affordable counterpart. The SKX007 is usually the first watch budding collectors buy after making the jump to mechanicals, but it's also prized by seasoned enthusiasts for its robust build and good looks, ISO-rated case, and epic nighttime luminosity. It has a street price of around $150depending on the vendor and availabilityso it makes for a super solid beater that you don't have to worry about. But price aside, it's simply a really well-made watch that's equal parts versatile and equal parts utilitarian, all from one of the most respected firms on the planet. The lineage of the 007 can be traced back to Seiko's earliest divers, starting with the iconic 62MAS and moving through the 6105,
Swapping Straps?
Hi All, I have a TO Chrono 1461 (https://.breitling/en/models/...echnical-data/) on a mesh bracelet, but I'm looking to swap to a brown croco/leather strap.I've never done this though, is there anything I need to know? Interhorn width is 22/20 mm- do I need to buy from Breitling? Their strap prices are on the high side- are there third party strap makers you recommend? Basically, any info on this would be helpful as I'm fairly clueless on the subject.
Omega Speedmaster Panda Racing Chrono
I just picked this up and it's a real sporty looking watch IMO . I bought the bracelet also for a change of pace. What do you think??Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Incomming from an AD!
While it hasn't been long since I joined TRF, I have been purchasing Rolexes from the trusted sellers here for years. From Sub C Date, LVC, 116520 Daytona, BNLR, GMT II-C, 116500 Daytona, IWC 3714 Portuguese, Omega Moon Watch to 116515 Daytona, I've bought and traded in a lot of watches for the past 5-6 years. After going through all the watches, I've came to a personal realization that classics, such as GMT II-C, 116520 Daytona and Sub C, are the watches I'll end up keeping. I wish I never flipped the 116520 Daytona, and I plan on purchasing a new old stock 116520 in the distant future. In the meantime, here is my newest incomming from an AD, Sub-C No Date. The sales person at the AD thought this was my first Rolex as I look young and wasn't wearing any watches I purchased a No Date as I already have a GMT II-C with the date function. Here comes the pics!
