Announcing The Speakers List For The 2015 HODINKEE Collectors Summit
Two weeks ago, we announced a new project called the HODINKEE Collectors Summit. This completely private, off-the-record event is something totally different for the watch world. The watch brands that typically underwrite the events you all attend will not be present. Nor will the folks that work for the brands. This day is about true collectors talking with one another, and learning from the absolute best independent minds in watches. The topics that will be covered are varied, but with a focus on knowledge sharing to ensure that this information lives on with a new set of enthusiasts. The response to this special project has been overwhelming (you can still request tickets here), and today we are thrilled to announce the speakers list for the 2015 HCS. If you're a watch guy, get ready, because this will blow you away. 1 OF 1 Predictions For Future Gainers And Decliners In The Vintage Watch World C Mr. Aurel Bacs To say that Aurel Bacs understands vint

Dear Rolex: Really????
Dear Rolex:You do know that I am a Rolex Geek Squad member (as called by several of your boutique staff); and that just like my fellow TRFers, we get goosebumps and start conversations everywhere a Rolex is even hinted. You do know that I, just as most here, are on the verge of a nervous breakdown as Basel is around the corner...the same problem I have year after year. I wake up this morning and find this full, two page ad in my local newspaper...so now my need' of a new watch has turned into full madness. Once again you are a marketing genius!
Sub C or Sea Dweller 16600
I have been looking for the next watch to add to my current rotation and have narrowed it down to the Sub C (have not decided date or no date) or the Sea Dweller 16600. I know this has been asked before but I did not see anything recent when I searched. I like the idea of the updated bracelet and the glidelock clasp but I love the looks of the 16600. For those that have or have had both, what are your thoughts? Thanks for your input, below is a picture of my current rotation Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
