Hello nice people of TRFthis thread is my dedication to one of my favourite watch,Omega Seamaster 2254Since I was in college..I always been fascinated with dive watch.. The simplicity, clarity and symetrism plus the versatile tough nature to worn practically everywhere..Omega 2254 ... first time I saw this beauty ..I love how simple it is .. the size.. the thin.. the curved..off course back in college, I cant afford one...after many years, 2 weeks ago, a colleague of mine, has old stock of 14 Omegas.. and one of them is Omega 2254Without hesitation. Ok i know the Panerai community never took the ferrari models too well and to be honest the stainless steel versions with coloured dials didnt float my boat either...And i know im asking this question on a Rolex forum.... asking for trouble/Ive been offered a FER00006 in trade for my Daytona and $3k usd his wayMy daytona is a early(ish) one (pre rehaut with no box or papers) and the Panerai is a complete set except an aftermarket strap as the original was sweat stained.Ive had quite a few panerais over the years but the ferrari ones have never been a look in... however this one is solid gold and actually looks beautiful (in my opinion)Now they only made 300 of this model and if i can get my head around the ferrari badging on it im considering it.... however am i going to do my money on it? is only going to be resellable for the gold content in years to come or do we think it will have some collectibility?

Panerai service center TX sent my watch to wrong address!
awhile ago I sent my panerai 347 in for service to PASC TX. Having only used them once before on a BRAND NEW pam of mine that was losing time back in 2006. My First experience with PASC in 2006 was not a good one. They received my brand new watch for a minor adjustment for the timing. I had heard horror stories about PASC TX damaging customer watches so I was told to take detailed pictures of my watch before I send it in to them incase they damage it during service. I get my watch back MONTHS later and not only was the inside of the crystal scratched, but so was the dial and the caseback was scratched up beyond belief.. Keep in mind the watch was brand spanking new before I sent it to them.After months of fighting with panerai offices in NY, I finally got them to agree to replacing the entire watch with a brand new one, no serial new everything. They said I was the first person they had to replace an entire watch to. If they didn't, it would have taken them 8 mo to a year to complete t
