Tried on the Dark Side of the moon!!
Sorry, no pics...but it is on display at the Boutique in NYC - My impressions....From initial view behind the glass...it's fairly unassuming - almost plastic looking...After putting it on and watching the light catch it...it's quite amazing...Shiny as hell, and the brushed/polished combination is really striking. The Cordura was more comfortable than you'd think, and actually looked pretty good...the Dial was stunning...pure liquid metal type sheen (in fact it is ZrO2)But, it was very light - a minus for me, a plus for others...Overall,,,it is a killer piece...The price hadn't bothered me, but when you look around the boutique a little more...the Speedmaster professional moonwatchWith Aventurine dial blows it away!! (for 500$ less) - and a more beautiful lemania movement on display, and moonphase...Also, the redgold deville chrono blue dial was just so amazing, that no other watch came close...I admire the Darkside, and think it is a great timepiece...but I have to bow out from the wait

Hello Patek guys...
...vintage Rolex guy here. Have no experience with Patek but wanted to find out a little info about a late 2mil serial 3411, center sweep seconds hand. Watch comes with box and a so-called extract from the archives cert listing (among other things) movement no., caliber, serial, date sold, but states they don't know dial. Can you point me to a good reference site so I don't embarrass myself by posting pics of a possible horrible fake? This dial looks too pristine, and swiss appears to be half cut off, but could just be angle of pic. Thanks in advance.
You know youre in trouble when...
You grow out of your watch case. I'm just a bit afraid to get a bigger one because then I'll feel the need to fill it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
