World Watch Report 2009 Reveals Online Trends
Digital marketing specialist IC-Agency has released the 5th World Watch Report market study. Its conclusions are based on a sample of more than 300 million global online searches relating to 25 watch brands in 7 export markets: China, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, France and Germany. The study found that the 3 most-searched watch models are the Omega Seamaster and Speedmaster, and the Rolex Daytona, in that order. In terms of global demand distribution for luxury watches, Europe leads the way with a 44.2% market share. Within Europe, the UK is tops (14.6%), followed by Germany (12.1%), Italy (9.6%) and France (7.7%). The USA remains the most important single market at 42.8%. Asia is still weak, with 13.2% market share, but China (7.4%) overtakes Japan (5.8%). This is important because China’s level of Internet usage is only 22%, compared with 74% in Japan. The Chinese are mainly interested in brands (77%), and are less interested in models (less than 10%, c
The new color in the collection of watches of Hermes Cape Cod
For the ladies, it is the new color in the collection of watches of Hermes Cape Cod . The "Malta blue" proposes a blue tonic veal of Hermes with gray stitching leather bracelet and more blue on the dial used for the outline of the signature art deco time count.
The pilot has landed!
So I picked up the pilot 5524g yesterday after a wait of about 6 months. I wasn't expecting it until the end of this year, so was a nice surprise to get the call early. I think there have been quite a few deliveries in Q1, and I'm guessing this is due to production now switching to the 5524r for at least the next few months. As we all know the 5524 was a controversial piece when it launched in 2015. I certainly didn't like it from the first photos released by Patek. Seeing live photos and trying it on totally changed my opinion and I knew this was a watch that would end up in my collection. Having now had the watch for a day I thought I'd share my early thoughts:- I love the case dimensions. Something I really like is a flat case back, with a thicker middle case and the 5524 suits my taste perfectly here. - It's quite a thick watch, but because of the above it feels perfectly balanced and in proportion. Coupled with the weight of white gold it feels very nice. - It's got a vibe differe
Thinking about adding an Aquanaut
Hi all,I'm thinking about adding an Aquanaut to my collection. Really like the idea of a sporty Patek on rubber strap. Please enable me: 5164 or 5167r. I don't travel often but I do like the added complication and thickness of the 5164. I also like the 5167r since it looks sublime with the RG case. How conforming is the rubber strap for small wrists? I'm concern that it may not bend enough at the lugs so there may be a gap between the strap and wrist. My wrist size is close to 6.5 in. Thanks and feel free to post pics!
Owners of White Dial Nautilus (5711/1A-011)
Read in another forum from another owner that the lume for the white dial is different from those from the blue dial. Apparently, the lume does not charge with regular sunlight or general light and will only charge under a halogen light bulb or light box. This is rather weird, as the lume would be sort of useless.Wondering did existing owner experience the same issues or it is just a one-off?Would love to see some normal charging lume shots of a white nautilus.
