Speedmaster Moonwatch Pro vs. 1st Omega in Space
Hi guys - I'm looking to add a Speedmaster to my collection and my favourite was the Speedmaster Moonwatch Pro with the hesalite glass. I love the history behind the watch and would want one as true to the original as possible. However I have recently come across the Speedmaster 1st Omega in Space edition (can't keep up with number of special/numbered editions of speedmaster). I like the look of the smaller face (39mm vs 42mm), the exposed lugs and the Alpha hands. This watch also has a great history and a tribute to the original, just as the Moonwatch is. They are a nearly the same RRP price, but you get more for your money with the Moonwatch - steel bracelet, spare NATO straps and other goodies in the box. Also has a nicer box but the 1st Omega in Space is a numbered edition. Any opinions out there as to which one is more preferred? Thanks. Thanks!
Breakfast with Omega SMP 2254 .. I finally find her..
Hello nice people of TRFthis thread is my dedication to one of my favourite watch,Omega Seamaster 2254Since I was in college..I always been fascinated with dive watch.. The simplicity, clarity and symetrism plus the versatile tough nature to worn practically everywhere..Omega 2254 ... first time I saw this beauty ..I love how simple it is .. the size.. the thin.. the curved..off course back in college, I cant afford one...after many years, 2 weeks ago, a colleague of mine, has old stock of 14 Omegas.. and one of them is Omega 2254Without hesitation. I ask him, Can I buy the 2254... he agreed to sell me the 2254 in fair priceI hope 1100 usd is a fair price..I ve been wearing it for > 1 weeksthe accuracy is satisfying for me, it going quite steady in minus 1 - 2 sec/ dayI want to share my happiness, some of this pictures I take by myself while I am having breakfast in a cafe not far from office and some taken while I am having my lunch...She lied down on breakfast tablethats me and he
Omega Speedmaster for $63,000
My NAWCC news tells me that four limited edition co-axial Omega Speedmaster Professionals, each the last in their production run celebrating the 50th anniversary of this chronograph, sold for mega buck at a charity auction in Berlin on 7/11/07.There was one white gold, one pink gold, one yellow gold, and one stainless steel watche in a production run of only 57. All four watches were the last of the run, i.e. 57/57. The white gold one went for $63,000; the pink gold and yellow gold ones went for $48,00 each, and the SS one went for $21,000.All proceeds went to charities for children.Lovely watches; worthy charities; cool auction idea!

Can some experts discuss the 18239 with me?
Been debating buying my wife one of these. We're both pretty tall, she's about 5'10 and the 36mm size is her preference. I see these models in good condition around $10k, which looks like a fair price for a solid gold model. Can someone help me out with a background on these? How does the bracelet, clasp, movement, etc. compare to current models? For a woman looking for a 36mm watch, would this be a good choice? Any insight on this would be much appreciated.TIA!!
