Gronefeld Parallax 1912 Tourbillon Watch
Thus far, the independent Dutch watch brand of Gronefeld had two distinctly different watches in their portfolio: their debut piece from 2008, which is a highly complicated and rather crazy-looking minute repeater tourbillon, and the One Hertz?from 2010, which thanks to its unique design dead-beat seconds hand procured the attention of watch enthusiasts.?But that was four years ago, and so it was just about time that they showed us a new piece, something that illustrated what direction the brand has been taking. The answer to that question was revealed at Baselworld 2014 in the form of the Parallax Tourbillon, a novelty that carries on some trademark Gronefeld design cues and introduces us the Gronefeld brothers' idea of the perfect tourbillon. The centerpiece of this novelty is indeed the dial and the large flying tourbillon, as highlighted in a substantially sized, silver-outlined opening at the 7 o'clock position. The dial is cut from solid silver and sports polished beveled edges an
Giveaway: Tissot T-Race Watch
Racing fans have a cool new watch to win from Tissot. A long time sponsor of motor sports, this T-Race timepiece is one of many racing inspired watches from the famous Swiss brand. This version of the T-Race is the reference T0484172705706 and have a cool rose gold and black theme. The case is 45.3mm wide in PVD coated steel. You'll notice the race inspiration in the brake disc style bezel. The watch has a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 100 meters. Inside the watch is a Swiss ETA G10.211 quartz chronograph movement. I recall going to a MOTO GP race and seeing a lot of fans wearing these. They are sporty and fun, and this gold and black version looks particularly cool in my opinion. Price is $750, and you can enter for a chance to win one below. PAM590 or Speedy Tuesday (ST)
Just wanted to get some feedback and thoughts from the Paneristis on whether to add PAM590 or Speedy at MSRP (both watches about same price) to current collection (pic). Would that be too many chronos or too many Omegas? Save up for another Rolex (new Basel release) or go down different path of Panerai?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
PAM 389 ticking intermittently?!
Hello all, just looking for some advice/experiences: Just picked up a P series PAM 389 in almost new condition and noticed it was running 10-15 minutes slow every hour. During a 30 second staring session I realized the second hand would move and stop, intermittently, and randomly. When the second hand stops, it only resumes movement after I pick up the watch and move it around or manually wind it. Any thoughts are welcomed. Thank you in advance.
